Web design for businesses across Atlantic Canada.

The studio is in Halifax and the work reaches Sydney, Moncton, Charlottetown and St. John’s on the same terms: pages written and built by hand, a price agreed before anything starts, and one person who answers the phone during your working day.

Across the region

Four provinces, four search markets, one studio.

A search for the same service returns a different set of businesses in Moncton than it does in Halifax, and a different set again in Charlottetown. Building for the region means building for each of those results pages rather than for one general idea of Atlantic Canada.

01 Local results are drawn tightlyGoogle decides what to show largely on where the searcher is standing, so a business in Saint John competes with Saint John rather than with the whole province. That works in your favour when the site names the places you serve, and against you when it says Atlantic Canada and stops there.
02 The season sets the calendarTourism on the Island, fishing along the shore, construction almost everywhere: demand in this region arrives in a few concentrated months and thins out between them. A site finished in February earns through the whole summer, while one commissioned in June spends the best weeks of the year half built.
03 Distance decides less than it used toScope, drafts, revisions and launch all happen over the phone, by email and through a shared preview link. A client in Corner Brook and a client in Bedford get the same process at the same price, and the only practical difference is which of us is awake first.
04 Phones, and signal that comes and goesA great deal of the region’s browsing happens on a phone, often on a connection that gets patchy past the edge of town. Page weight is a commercial problem here rather than a technical one, because a site that takes six seconds to appear loses to a plainer competitor that appears at once.
05 Quotes vary more than the work doesThe same five-page site gets quoted at wildly different numbers depending on which city the agency bills from. Ours are built by hand at $800, with $99 a month to run them, so you know both numbers before a page is drawn rather than discovering the second one later.
What we do

Everything we build, wherever you are in the region.

Seven services, each quoted in full before the work starts. Websites are $800 to build and $99 a month to run. Repairs, audits and profile setups are one-time work on sites somebody else built.

Where we build

A page for every province we cover.

Each one carries the local detail: the towns, the competition, the season, and what a search actually returns there. Start with the province you work in.

Working in a trade? The Lead Machine adds an instant quote estimator and an owner lead dashboard, with pages for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping and general contracting.

Q.01

Do you build for businesses outside Nova Scotia?

Yes. The studio is in Halifax and clients are spread across all four Atlantic provinces. Scope, drafts and launch happen by phone, email and a shared preview link, so where you are changes the copy on your pages rather than the process or the price.

Q.02

Does working with a studio in another province slow anything down?

In practice it moves quicker than a schedule built around meetings. Most builds run five business days to two weeks from a signed scope to launch, and enquiries get a reply the same day, usually within a couple of hours.

Q.03

Which parts of Atlantic Canada do you cover?

All of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador, cities and small towns alike. Each province has its own page here with the local detail, and if your town is missing from one of them the answer is still yes.

Q.04

Do you charge more for clients further from Halifax?

The rate in Labrador City is the rate on Spring Garden Road: $800 to build a custom site up to five pages and $99 a month to run it, $399 a month on the Lead Machine, and one-time work quoted in full before it starts.
