Web design in Nova Scotia, built from inside it.

The studio is in Halifax, which means the search results you are trying to win are the ones we look at every week. Sites are written and built by hand, priced in full before the work starts, and usually live within five business days to two weeks.

Halifax to Cape Breton $800 to build Then $99/mo

In the province

What a Nova Scotia business is up against in search.

Roughly half the province lives inside the Halifax Regional Municipality and the other half is spread across towns where a single Google result can decide the week. Those are two different problems, and they call for two different sites.

Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford, Sackville
Truro, Sydney, Bridgewater, Yarmouth
Usually on site within a day in the HRM

01 Two markets inside one provinceIn Halifax a search returns a full page of competitors and the work is standing out among them. In Antigonish or Digby it often returns three, and the work is being one of the three rather than a business Google struggles to place at all.
02 Naming your towns does most of the workA page that says Nova Scotia is competing with every business in the province. A page that names Windsor, Wolfville and Kentville is competing with the handful that serve those towns, which is a far shorter queue to stand in.
03 The season is short and it is loudTourism on the South Shore and in Cape Breton, and construction nearly everywhere, compress the year into a few busy months. A site commissioned in April tends to launch once the rush has already started, which wastes the half of the season it was meant to catch.
04 Cape Breton searches on its own termsSydney, Glace Bay and the rest of the island form a separate market with separate competitors, and a Halifax-shaped site rarely reads as local there. Naming the island explicitly counts for more than it does anywhere else in the province.
05 The quote gap is realNova Scotia agencies commonly ask several thousand upfront for a five-page site, and a fair share of that buys a template with your logo dropped into it. Hand-built pages here are $800 to build and $99 a month to run, with the whole cost stated before a single page is drawn.
What we do

Everything we build, wherever you are in the region.

Seven services, each quoted in full before the work starts. Websites are $800 to build and $99 a month to run. Repairs, audits and profile setups are one-time work on sites somebody else built.

Recent work

Sites already running for Nova Scotia businesses.

A pizza shop, an auto body shop and a hockey program. Different businesses with the same job to do: look right, load quickly, and make it easy for a visitor to become a customer.

Where we build

Pages for the four HRM markets.

Halifax Regional Municipality is small enough to drive across and varied enough that a search in one town returns a different set of businesses than the next. Each of these has its own page.

Outside the HRM? Truro, New Glasgow, Antigonish, Sydney, Bridgewater, Kentville, Amherst and Yarmouth are all regular ground, and the build runs the same way by phone and email. Tell us where you are.

Questions

Questions from Nova Scotia owners.

The ones that come up before anybody talks about design.

Q.01

Do you build for businesses outside the Halifax area?

Regularly. Truro, New Glasgow, Sydney, Bridgewater, Kentville and Yarmouth are all familiar ground, and the build runs by phone, email and a shared preview link. The local knowledge that matters shows up in the copy: your towns, your service radius, and the searches your customers actually run.

Q.02

Can a small-town Nova Scotia business realistically rank?

Often more easily than a Halifax one. Outside the HRM there are fewer competitors and many of them have thin, slow sites. A fast page that names the town, states the service and gives a price range tends to climb quickly.

Q.03

What does a five-page Nova Scotia website cost?

It is $800 to design and build, then $99 a month with no minimum term, covering hosting, SSL, backups and content changes. Trades that quote by job usually take the Lead Machine at $399 a month for the estimator and the owner lead dashboard.

Q.04

Do we need to meet in person to get this built?

Only if you would prefer to. Anywhere in the HRM is a short drive and easy to arrange, while everywhere else tends to run on phone and email, as plenty of HRM builds do too. The price is identical either way.
